    If you have the program "media player classic" you can find it here http://www.free-codecs.com/download/...er_Classic.htm screen caps are easy. Just start up the vid in media player classic and click on 'file' then choose 'save thumbnails' decide where you want the screen cap saved and click 'save'.

    I can't emphasize enough how easy it is to download Media Player Classic and make caps with it. I had been creating single screen grabs with Windows Movie Maker and not only is MPC 10x faster, but automatically scrolls through your movie for you and creates a single image containing about 16 thumbs.

    Agreed...was recommended to me on the forum...great for screencaps and easy to use....and its a free download.... just google for it.

    Default Easy way

    The easiest way that I have found to make screen caps is to use zapgrab. Its a screenshot grabber. Its only a 30kb .exe program, nothing to install. The only downside is when copy and paste, the file is a .bmp picture file not a jpeg. Here is the link

    when i used this application(Media player classic) i could not postthe screencaps in this forum because it was BMP?? how do i make it jpg

    When you get to the screen that ask you where you would like to save the file you can change the file type there. Just below the file name box is the file type box you should be able to select either BMP or JPG.
