The ability of the PV-500 to through power a 12v cam is a big advantage, otherwise
1. just get a Mini to MicroSd adapter, majority of spycams work with MicroSD, not SD, and you can always adapt to a larger size, eg Micro to SD, but not to a smaller size.
2. Power through the USB via a power stick or from the electrical supply, it will record while taking an external power supply.
We should be able to source a V2 AngelEyes MiniDVR2 shortly so I would wait for that unless you are in a rush. (although V2 won't through power a 12v cam I don't think, but I think they have fixed the motion sensing)
